1. Attitude to learning is outstanding: because he/she fully engages with the lessons; is resilient, responding well to challenge and demonstrating the ability to work well collaboratively and independently.
2. Attitude to learning is good: because he/she always engages with the lessons and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
3. Attitude to learning requires improvement: because he/she does not always engage with the lesson. There is an inconsistent approach to work which is affecting progress.
4. Attitude to learning is inadequate: because he/she rarely engages with the lesson, leading to the underachievement of self and others.

Behaviour (Years 10 and 11 only):
1. Behaviour is outstanding: because he/she is consistently co-operative and respectful of other students and staff in lessons.

4. Behaviour is inadequate: because a lack of respect and tolerance for other students and/or staff is a regular occurrence, leading to the underachievement of self and others.
