Hello, I'm Yvonne Lishman, an alternative wedding and events photographer.  I'm based in Nottingham but I travel the UK to photograph funky offbeat weddings. I also photograph private and commercial events and pet photography throughout the Midlands. I've photographed the Groby Community College's textile students participating in the annual LEBC schools fashion show for a number of years. My take on photography isn’t conventional or formal. It’s about producing bold and original imagery reflecting the personalities of those involved in it. It’s about my clients being willing to participate in something different to the norm and trusting me to photograph their wedding or event how I see it. My clients place great importance on their photography, it’s important to me too and my intention is always to deliver a collection of original and unique images for them.

My work's featured in various places including; BBC3's Don't Tell The Bride, Rock My Wedding, Bespoke Bride, The Wedding Community, Heineken, Black Meringue, House Beautiful, Metro.
