On 14 July 2014, 23 students and 2 staff from Groby Community College set off for Tanzania after two years of planning, fundraising and numerous injections. Guided by our expedition leader Jonny, it took two days of travelling to get to our first camp in Moshi, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro and acquaint ourselves with our first tent of the month.

Following the success of several Groby Community College expeditions to Tanzania and Kenya, we are pleased to announce that we are again working with Camps International to give your son/daughter the same opportunity during the summer of 2016.
This time we have chosen Ecuador as our destination with a visit to the Galapagos Islands, the most famous location in the world to see diverse and abundant wildlife.
You are invited to attend a presentation to learn more about this exciting opportunity and the extensive fundraising support on offer from the expert Camps International Team. Come along on:
Tuesday 16th September at 18:30 in the Drama Studio
