UNISON STRIKE ACTION CANCELLED

Groby Community College will remain fully operational to all students. Students are expected to be in college as normal.

Previous announcement 9 October 2014:

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you may be aware, UNISON have called strike action on Tuesday 14 October for all public sector workers employed under local government terms and conditions. This action DOES NOT include teaching staff. At present we do not foresee that the strike will have a major impact on the normal working arrangements of the college although the full impact of the intended action is still unknown.

At this moment the college will remain fully operational to all students. Students are expected to be in college as normal.

If there is a change to this situation I will let you know as soon as possible on Monday 13 October.
