Teacher Day 18 October and changes to report dates

As you will be aware from the website and the newsletter, the college is closed to students this Friday 18 October for a designated teacher training day. Students return to college on Monday 28 October as normal.

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Year 10, 11 and 12 Tutor Evening last night. There will be an opportunity for Year 13 parents  and carers to meet with tutors and subject teachers on 19 November. Please be aware that the interim report issued to year 10, 11 and 12 on Friday 11 October was the accurate data. Unfortunately some incorrect information was given out on Tutor Evening which may have confused some parents of Year 11 students. Please be reassured that the report you received via your child last Friday (also available on the Parental Online Access) is the correct information for this half term.

Our reports look a little different this year as we have moved over to a new system. As we adapt to the new software we have to make a change to our reporting schedule. Full reports will be issued as follows: • Year 11 full reports issued on Thursday 21 November 2013 (as opposed to Friday 15 November) • Year 12 full reports issued on Thursday 12 December 2013 (as opposed to Friday 6 December) • Year 10 full reports issued on Thursday 13 March 2013 (as opposed to Friday 7 March)
