What is our purpose?

The Drive Team is an aspirational team who share our college drive for Outstanding.  It was set up as a focus group of teachers interested in change and innovation within the college.  Each faculty has a Drive Team representative with the aim that ideas coming through the Drive Team can be easily be disseminated to all teachers and that the needs of all faculties are considered.

What do we do?

We plan and deliver engaging professional development sessions for staff at both faculty and whole school level.  Members of the Drive Team have delivered training on subjects such as literacy and numeracy, independent learning, active engagement and Looking for Learning.  Meeting regularly, we are able to forward plan in order to meet the training needs of teachers.
As a team we also promote and facilitate the sharing of best practice across the college, both within and between faculties.
